The Sikkim State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) on October 10, 2025, notified regarding the Self-Certification & Declaration Form for Renewal of CTE/CTO and Authorization.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This form enables industrial units in Sikkim to file a self-certified declaration for renewal of their Consent to Establish (CTE), Consent to Operate (CTO), and Waste Authorization under the State Pollution Control Board’s regulatory regime.
• It requires details of the unit, production activities, compliance with water, air, and waste management norms (including effluent treatment, DG sets, hazardous waste, and solid waste), and attachments like geotagged photographs, monitoring reports, and licenses.
• The undertaking holds the occupier legally accountable for the correctness of information and allows SPCB to pursue action or additional fees if false data is submitted.
